Intro

Raymarine is the boat’s navigation and awareness layer: chartplotting, radar, autopilot, AIS, and depth/speed sensing wired as one stack.

Purpose of each

MFD / chartplotter — the glass helm: charts, overlays, and the hub for the network.
Radar — sees weather cells and traffic when eyes alone aren’t enough.
Autopilot — Raymarine, with three p70s controllers around the boat, a Type II 12V linear drive and an ACU400 control unit. Holds a course so the crew can handle sail, watch, or rest.
AIS — shows who’s out there and announces us.
Transducers — depth and speed into the same picture.

As-installed Raymarine navigation system · September 2026 · Jeanneau International 50. Two-page outline: deck/accommodation placement, then network connections (RayNet via two RNS-8 switches + SeaTalk^ng).
